Short smashes maiden JLT Cup century

Former NTIS scholarship Cricket athlete D’Arcy Short has blasted his maiden JLT One Day Cup century, against the Cricket Australia XI, at North Sydney Oval.

D’Arcy Short is playing for the Western Australia Warriors in this year’s Australian JLT One Day Cup. He was promoted from number seven to open the batting for the Warriors. He rewarded the faith of Coach Justin Langer with a stunning 119 not out from 92 balls, which included 12 fours and a six to lead the Warriors into the JLT Cup final.
