Tjoritja / West MacDonnell National Park EOI

Tjoritja / West MacDonnell National Park is managed by the Department of Tourism, Sport and Culture. Located within 160km from Alice Springs, the area receives over 100,000 visitors per year.

Expressions of Interest are being sought to manage the Ormiston Gorge, Ellery Creek Bighole and Redbank Gorge Campgrounds and day use areas within the Park, as well as the operation of the Ormiston Gorge Kiosk.

Campground Management

Proposals are being sought for suitably qualified individuals or organisations to provide campground management services including but not limited to:

  • Collection of camping fees from campers
  • Daily maintenance of campgrounds and day use areas and
  • Cleaning of ablution facilities

In order to assist proponents in preparing their EOI, a mandatory onsite briefing and site inspection will be held on Thursday 11 April 2019, commencing at 9am at Ellery Creek before moving through to Ormiston and Redbank Gorge.
