Casuarina Coastal Reserve EOI

Casuarina Coastal Reserve is managed by the Northern Territory Department of Tourism and Culture. Expressions of interest (EOI) are being sought from appropriately qualified and experienced organisations or individuals to operate high-quality food vans that will complement the visitor facilities and values of Casuarina Coastal Reserve, and enhance visitors’ use, access and enjoyment of the area.

Expressions of interest are being sought for:

  • Mobile food van operations

Mobile food van operations

The Department of Tourism and Culture has developed a framework to ensure there are clear guidelines in place for small-scale commercial activity. The framework outlines that:

  • three specific locations have been selected within the Reserve for mobile food van operations only – one at Rapid Creek, two in the Dripstone Cliffs parking area
  • a limit of three mobile food vans will be permitted at any one time, unless a special event is taking place and permits are granted
  • guidelines and permissions will be in place for suitable operators to provide adequate protection of the natural environment
