The timeless charm of May Gibbs’ classic tale Snugglepot and Cuddlepie comes to life on stage for children aged 5-10 years old (and grownups) on Tuesday 25 October at the Araluen Arts Centre.

“Whether it’s a first meeting for young audiences, or a trip down memory lane for grownups, this new contemporary adaptation will surprise and delight audiences of all ages,” Araluen Cultural Precinct Director, Dr Mark Crees said.

“These much loved characters come to life on stage as this funny and charming new production introduces today’s children to the wonderful world of May Gibbs.

“We are excited that the school’s matinee at 1pm on Tuesday 25 October has already sold out with five schools coming to see this Australian classic live on stage.

“The evening show will commence at 6pm and tickets are still available.

“The Araluen Arts Centre also has two beautiful copies of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie to give away to two lucky ticket holders.

“For your chance to win, simply purchase a ticket to the 6pm performance of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie before Tuesday 25 October, 4pm.

“The winners will be randomly selected and will be able to pick up the books from the Araluen Box Office on the night of the performance.”

Ticket prices for adults and children are $20 per person. All tickets are available from the Araluen Box Office on (08) 8951 1122.
