The Northern Territory is once again being promoted as the ‘World’s Biggest Art Gallery’ with a two-phase Territory Arts Trail campaign set to roll out nationally from today.
Territorians will continue to enjoy blockbuster AFL games, with the Territory Labor Government signing a new agreement that will see the Gold Coast Suns play a home game in Darwin and the Melbourne Demons continue to play in Alice Springs each season for the next four years.
The Department of Tourism, Sport and Culture is reminding Territorians and visitors to ‘Check if a Park is Open’ before travelling to our national parks, to avoid disappointment. While many Territory Parks remain open year-round, others are subject to seasonal closures.
The Territory Labor Government is delivering on its election commitment to give Aboriginal Rangers more power to manage and protect their land with amendments to the Territory Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act 1976 passing in Parliament today.
